A BILL to amend and reenact section nineteen, article eleven,
chapter twenty-one of the code of West Virginia, one thousand
nine hundred thirty-one, as amended, relating to continuing
the West Virginia contractor licensing board.
Be it enacted by the Legislature of West Virginia:

That section nineteen, article eleven, chapter twenty-one of
the code of West Virginia, one thousand nine hundred thirty-one, as
amended, be amended and reenacted to read as follows:
ARTICLE 11. WEST VIRGINIA CONTRACTOR LICENSING ACT.
§21-11-19. Continuation of board.

The West Virginia contractor licensing board shall be
terminated continue to exist pursuant to the provisions of article
ten, chapter four of this code, on until the first day of July, two thousand two three, unless sooner terminated, continued or
reestablished pursuant to that article.

(NOTE: The purpose of this bill is to continue the West
Virginia contractor licensing board until July 1, 2003, pursuant to
the West Virginia sunset law. This bill is recommended by the
joint committee on government operations for passage during the
2002 regular session of the Legislature.
